He will help you with the set-up, walk you thru some very helpful pointers so you can have an enjoyable day of fishing. FISH ON!!!

I did a phone consultation with Derik before I drove up from LA and fished the feather river. After we spent a hour on the phone I went and caught my first salmon the next day . He is very knowledgeable about king salmon and the feather river. I booked a in person class with him for August . I look forward to fishing with him .

I went out with Derik last year on the Feather River in Oroville and had one of the best days I’ve had out there. We caught quite a few salmon and I finally started landing fish consistently thanks to his coaching. I’d fished that area plenty of times before but always struggled. I already rebooked for this year and I’m bringing my son with me since Derik started doing trips for kids too. If you’re thinking about a guided salmon trip, I highly recommend him.
